the face behind Leyco Lettering...

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Brandy Leyva, the heart and hands behind Leyco Lettering. I was born in Taegu, South Korea, adopted and brought to the states at 6 months old. I’m Oklahoma raised, but have called Dallas, Texas home for the last 11 years.

Ever since I was little, I was always drawing or lettering (aka bubble and block lettering, where are all my 80’s babies at?) , which continued as an adult. And if you know me, you know I have an all things Christmas obsession... So one year I decided to step up my Christmas card game and try to teach myself calligraphy. I instantly fell in love, and the rest is history….

I am a wife and mother first. We have a 3 year old son who keeps us on our toes, forever laughing and continually chasing him around. Our family loves live music, traveling (particularly somewhere warm and with a beach), being outdoors, trying new restaurants, and our second home and church Shoreline City.

Outside of the office and time with my family, I have the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for Replanted Ministry. Which is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping provide community and resources to foster and adoptive families. And if not there, you just might find me under the water. Scuba diving has been a passion of mine for 10+ years, and I swear, in another life I was probably a mermaid.
